Hillman hot-dipped galvanized hex lag screws for structural wood connections — post bases, ledger attachments, and wood-to-wood structural fastening. Coarse lag thread with pointed tip; 9/16 in hex drive. Pre-drilling required: 1/4 in pilot in main member, diameter-matching lead hole in side member. HDG coating approved for ACQ and CA treated lumber. Available in six sizes from 3/8 in × 3 in through 5/8 in × 8 in.
